AXTV's True Non-Hollywood Story

ANARCHY X TV WAS ORIGINALLY FORMED IN 1994 UNDER THE NAME "GOOD PRODUCTIONS" BY BARRY ACE AND TWO FELLOW CLASSMATES FOR A CLASS PROJECT. THE GROUP PRODUCED A HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS DOCUMENTARY ENTITLED "IN YOUR FACE SPORTS". 12 YEARS LATER ACE BOUGHT OUT THE OTHER TWO SHARES OF GOOD PRODUCTIONS AND RENAMED IT ANARCHY X TV.

ORIGINALLY MEANT TO BE A PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING VIDEO COMPANY, ANARCHY X MEANS A REBELLION AGAINST THE EVILS OF BACKSTAGE POLITICS IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING.

THE NEW "AXTV" WAS LAUNCHED ON SEPTEMBER 13, 2006 WITH THE FRIDAY THE 13TH PARODY "JASON'S DAY OFF" AND IT'S SEQUELS, WHICH HAD GAINED INCREDIBLE POPULARITY AMONGST NOT ONLY FRIDAY THE 13TH, BUT SEVERAL FRIDAY ALUMNI AS WELL.

SINCE THEN, AXTV PRODUCED A SERIES OF SHORT HORROR FILMS CALLED DARRK AWAKENING, A HORROR HOST PROGRAM, DANTE'S DOMICILE, WHICH AIRS SHORT HORROR FILMS MADE BY AXTV AND OTHER INDIE FILM COMPANIES, AND EVEN A SEQUEL TO THE GEORGE A. ROMERO CLASSIC, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.

NOT BAD FOR A SMALL COMPANY NORTH OF BOSTON THAT STARTED IN A HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM.
